【China】The Guide of Xi’an Airport Transportation (From Downtown)

Since there was no metro airport line from downtown to Xi’an Airport, a more economical way for passengers is to take the airport bus. There’are many pickup spots in Xi’an city, detailed info of routes can be found on the official website.

The closest pickup spot from to me was at “Xi‘an Hotel”.

An old staff was standing at the door, who was very polite and kind when I asked him where can I buy the ticket, and pointed the way for me.

The ticket office was on the right side of the lobby counter, and you can see it straight to the left-hand side. The price was RMB$25/person. The bus came every half an hour. Remember to ask the bus time when buying tickets.

The bus departed on time and took about 50 minutes to the Airport.

Chinese Hamburger (RMB$10)

I arrived 3 hours earlier, way too early. There weren’t many shops to go so I started to grab a bite to eat to kill time.

I had “Rou-jia-muo”, which is a Chinese dishes that are similar to a hamburger, at Mei-xian and Xi’an during this trip, and its taste was too good that I couldn’t forget. So, when I see one here at the airport, I couldn’t help but buy one, even though this was a vegan one. But it was a tragedy, not only tasting awful but very expensive.

Chinese Hamburger and Jujube Juice (RMB$58)

There was a restaurant The second floor, and they also got that hamburger, but looked more authentic and not a vegan one (thank god). However, it was even more unreasonable. It tasted horrible as well– I’d never try the food at China’s airports anymore.
