Many tourists visiting Huang-shan will live at Tangkou the night before so to have more time on Huangshan. I found this 1314 inn, in which both the price and reviews are nice.

There’s a restaurant in the inn, which serves breakfast in the morning (extra charge). There’s also a spacious seating area on the other side on the 1st floor. On the wall were messages left by guests, and a shelf full of books, which can be brought back to the bedroom to read.

I booked the cheapest room, RMB$ 80/night, plus a deposit of $100. The room has several advantages:
